How to create FP components?

How to create your own components (Example similarity: ListView) own rendering (Skin). Creation of "non-standard" components. Tell me where to start, maybe there is sensible literature, examples. Libraries like AlphaControls, Dynamic Skin Form, please do not offer, I use FPC (no compatibility).
