How to create auto increment in Libre/Open Office?

Please tell me how to create your own variable in free office suites, with auto-increment, similar to the one that is automatically created for formulas.

I will explain a problem on an example:

On fn {F3} the formula with number is interposed. This number can be incremented depending on the number of inserted formulas. Cross-references to formula numbers can be inserted in documents, which can be automatically updated when formulas are reordered.

I really want to have my own variable, which could change its value depending on the number of text inserts with it. And to be able to refer to text with such a variable without violating the integrity of the link even after changing the order of such text.

I hope I made it a little clearer.)
