How to create a Linux Server from a template?

There is a configured fighting Ubuntu Server. It is necessary to create exactly the same but for a different project. I don’t really want to set everything up again (install packages, prescribe iptables, logging, nginx, monitoring, etc.).
Instead, I want to have a basic configuration on the basis of which you can raise a new server and supplement it with the details necessary specifically for the project.
Advise how you can create such a basic configuration and create new servers based on it?

if you want to dump-restore an existing server on another hardware, then through dd (if the server has LVM, then everything is done on the fly without reboots, through snapshots).
but just do I advise Ansible, tk. pretty easy to learn.

If you think dd is taking too long, you can try fsarchiver. As synaptic is only better - I clone it at work.
