How to create a backup channel on windows?

There is a computer on windows 7, it works all the time, the Internet comes to it via ethernet, but sometimes the channel drops.
And I remotely access this computer, but when the channel drops, I cannot find out the reason for the drop. A usb wi-fi adapter is plugged into the computer, there is a wi-fi network that you can connect to as a backup channel.
What are the solutions so that the wi-fi network, set in advance, is automatically picked up when the main ethernet channel disappears?

Write a script with a ping to Google DNS. If there are no 4 answers in 30 seconds (for example) - turn on WiFi via netsh. Call the scheduler once a minute.
