How to correctly remove and install sphinx?

Such a problem: there was a sphinx, it was necessary to adjust the word forms. It did not work, I decided to delete and reinstall manually. It still didn't work out. Now I put it through the Manage pool, writes what happened, but no index is created, many files are not created,

and the task in tasks is like an error. See screenshot. How to reinstall it correctly? Help me please.

download the latest rpm package
and then just rpm -ihv package name,
voila
, or yum localinstall package name if you don't want to resolve the dependencies by hand
