How to correctly put an option in a node function?

There is a goal to connect to a long poll to the VK server and wait for a response from it, but the module does not wait, but immediately stops the connection.
I'm working with the module https://github.com/ForbesLindesay/sync-request
There is a timeout option in the dock, and the problem is that I don't know how to put it in correctly. Could you tell?

According to the link that you yourself gave, there is all the documentation, even from a quick look it is clear that the options are the 3rd argument, and the timeout option has a default value of false - which means waiting for a response indefinitely
