How to correctly open a menu in fullpage js?

I'm making a website using fullpage js. There are 9 sections in total, each of them has the same hidden burger menu. I am new to JS and the question is, in general, how to make the menu open only on the currently active section (and not on all at once) and close when scrolling to another section.
