How to correctly install drivers for video cards in Ubuntu?

Good evening
/* A brief digression
I could not convey the essence of the issue in the header.
In general, the other day I dealt with 3 monitors in Ubuntu (1 on intel, 2 others on nVidia). I solved the problem by removing the PCI / iGPU in the BIOS, which worked fine in Windows and installed PCI / PEG, but the iGPU works in Ubuntu out of the box;)

In general, the essence of the issue is that everything works fine out of the box, for performance exception - brakes on effects and so on => drivers are needed. As soon as I install the proprietary nVidia driver, the monitor on Intel is cut off, as soon as I immediately after that pull the drivers from the Intel site, install it, then after a reboot, two monitors on nVidia fall off and only Intel starts working :)
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Out of the box you have a universal VESA driver that works with both intel and nvidia. And "As if" combines all video devices into one.
After installing the nvidia drivers, the Xs are already running on the nvidia driver. Which completely refuses to see a competitive video card because it does not support it. Well, vice versa.
There is no way you can run X on two drivers at the same time. I hope I was able to convey the essence.

Model laptop in the studio. If it's proprietary then install it. Nvidia prime.
