We have a project on the Ukrainian market, this is an online store and a magazine, we want to open a representative office in Russia (i.e. a physical office in Moscow time with a warehouse, but this is not the question), the site is now site.com.ua, respectively, will site.ru domain.
Tell me your experience or case how to do it right - just change the data - TIN, PSRN, phone numbers, addresses and other delivery data, or do you need to rewrite category descriptions, articles, etc. separately? It is clear that we will add addresses to the Google business and I catalog and maps, but again - you don’t need to add to the old domain, it turns out you need to the new one ...
2nd question - we keep a log, is it normal that the content will be the same on the site in RF?
3rd question - will it give us something, some kind of boost that we already have an existing project, or in fact we just start from 0 in the Russian Federation and for the search engine we will be no better than any other site with 0 trust, etc.?

2- If the webmaster clearly indicates the regionality of both sites, one for the second ru, then most likely there will be no problems.
3- Start almost from scratch. Boost can give the number of mentions in the network and advanced accounts in social networks, if any.

I'm not an expert in SEO, but it seems to me that it's better to do everything on one domain, for example com or club or top - since there is a choice. And already, depending on the region, display contacts, etc. It seems to me that in this case the ranking will be higher.
