How to make a site structure when there are many modifications of the same product?

Good afternoon, the site sells doors, created recently. There are series of doors with dozens of finishes (outside/inside). We cannot cram all door modifications into one card , so many similar pages appear in the PS. On large sites, as I understand it, this is not a problem - there are a huge number of almost duplicates and the site feels great in the search results. In our webmaster, if there are too many modifications in one series of products, it is written that half of these pages are of poor quality, and the remaining half are constantly jumping in the search results.
Would it be a solution to make a series of doors a landing page with custom meta tags, i.e. essentially a subdirectory? So that the main traffic goes to it. In this case, such a page will link to all the doors of its series, and in each door of this series there will be a link to this page (for example, in breadcrumbs).

I would make (and have already done) one parent version of the door, the base model, a separate product card, and add product modifications in the same way as product cards, but with one difference that this product has a Parent_ID, and when choosing any modification , replace the image, description, technical details with Ajax, but following the link directly to this door-modification will prohibit / or not prohibit, but prescribe the canonical to the base model.
