How to convert video to gif?
I tried a dozen video editors - none of them did it. OS Windows 7.
What you need:
- load the video in mp4 format
- set the beginning and end of the fragment that will be converted (a fragment a little over a minute long)
- crop
- reduce the size of the video, leaving the aspect ratio
- adjust frame skipping (to reduce the gif size)
- get output gif

Use ffmpeg.
You can set the start, end and crop in any video editor, export and feed to ffmpeg if it's easier, but ffmpeg itself supports all this.
