How to convert vCard (vcf) file to Excel (xls) format?

There is a need to export contacts from the Yandex Mail service (vCard format, vcf extension) and convert the file to Excel format. Not one of the existing online converters gave a digestible result (there is some kind of meat inside the file, i.e. the absence of columns and rows as such, the absence of Cyrillic, etc.).
Using csv as an intermediate format gave somewhat better results, but the overall results are still far from satisfactory.
Is there any solution for converting vCard file to Excel format?
