How to convert MTS video file to MP4 so that Android does not lose sound?

After converting an MTS file to MP4 for uploading to YouTube, there is no sound when watching the video with Android devices. I tried to convert with various programs, but the maximum I achieved was a barely audible noise, similar to the original sound. A video edited in Adobe Premiere Pro has been uploaded to YouTube. The sound of other fragments and the background melody in Android is audible, but the sound of fragments from MTS files is not. How to solve this problem?
