How to convert Asus WMVN25E2+ into a regular router?
There is a router Asus WiMax WiFi Center from Yota.
There is no WAN port on it, it can only receive the Internet through WiMax.
Yota no longer supports WiMax, so do not use it for its intended purpose.
I would like to turn it into a regular Wifi router, with Internet access via cable.
In https://wikidevi.com/wiki/ASUS_WMVN25E2%2B they write that it is based on the BCM6359 chip.
There is no such device in https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/targets/brcm63xx (and no wimax at all).
The only piece of hardware on this chip (and the only page on the site with this tag):
Huawei HG520V, https://openwrt.org/toh/huawei/hg520v
Question: which firmware fromarchive.openwrt.org/releases/18.06.3/targets/brcm6...
can it be poured into it so that it does not turn into a brick, and to configure one of the Ethernet ports as a WAN?
In https://www.asus.com/ru/supportonly/WMVN25E2%20plu... there is an archive
for assembling proprietary firmware, but I decided to leave this option for dessert.
