How to convert a hyper-v virtual machine to a physical disk?
On a Windows Server 2016 standard host, I have a vhd VM based on Windows Server 2016 Standard.
1) Is it possible to place the main partition of the VM (C: \) on a physical disk from the very beginning when creating a VM? It means pass-through-disks. When a VM is created, it is not a problem to forward additional disks for me by transferring them offline on the host, but how can I do the same for the main VM partition? I will be very grateful for information from official sources, I have not found anything normal about this except speculation.
2) If point 1 is possible and it is possible to place C:\ of the VM itself on a physical disk, can an existing VM in vhd format be converted/converted into a VM on pass-through-disk?
