How to convert a curvilinear selection to a rectangular one in Photoshop?
Greetings.
Help convert a curvilinear selection to a rectangular one. The original image was a picture (text on a white background), then I removed the background and I need to get a rectangular selection of the resulting area. At the moment, only the most cut text is selected by Ctrl, as it should be, but this is not it; you need to somehow convert this selection into a rectangular area according to the size of the cut text in this layer. I tried to manipulate with inversion and overlap, but nothing happened (not enough experience).
Thank you.

Photoshop can't select what isn't there. Even if you select with a square frame with handles and try to drag, it will automatically select along the transparent outline of the object. Those. only if you glue the text with the background you will get a rectangular area (as an option, do not glue the layer, but at the same time select them in the list of layers, and then select them in the window).
