How to connect xDebug to PHPStrom?

Hello colleagues.
I continue to master the PHPStorm IDE.
Please help me connect xDebug.
I am using mac os 10.11, installed MAMP with PHP 5.6.10.
In PHPStorm I use PHP from MAMP as a PHP interpreter.
I read the manuals for connecting and configuring xDebug here , but after installing HomeBrew, it was not possible to install xDebug, moreover, this manual provides an example of setting up for built-in PHP, and not for MAMP.
I tried from here , but here everything is also configured for built-in PHP.
In general, I'm completely confused, I ask for help.
