How to connect to smartphone UART?
What is:
1) Converter https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/1pcs-USB-to-TTL-con...
2) Dexp Ixion MS250 smartphone board. The board has four outputs, two of which are labeled RX,TX. At these outputs, the voltmeter shows 1.7V when the board is on and 0V when it is off.
3) Computer with debian, windows. Weak knowledge in microelectronics and know how to solder a little (not smd).
What I want:
As I understand it, these are kernel debugging outputs and I would like to connect to them from the terminal on my computer. Since the voltage is different on the converter and the board, I'm afraid to connect directly (comp (usb) - converter (rx, tx, 3.3V) - board (tx, rx, 1.7V)).
Questions:
How to properly connect the board to the computer?
If you need to match the voltage / levels, is there any circuit ready - not difficult to solder.
Is there any cheap turnkey solution?
What are the worst possible consequences when connecting directly through a converter (for example, you can kill the board)?
