There are access details to the server through OpenVpn. You need to set up a connection from Ubuntu to the server and connect to the MSSQL database. That is, OpenVpn bridge to the local network to connect to the database.

Install openvpn client. Use it to connect to the openvpn server. Then you work in the same way as if you were on the same network with MS SQL (if, of course, this open vpn is on the same network as MS SQL, and everything is correctly configured on the server side).
