How to connect to a device via USB?
Hello!
I can’t understand (because I don’t know) how, if I have a device connected via USB and a program ready to work with the data that it transmits, can I make it understand which device it needs?
I don't even know how to google properly. Could you suggest, if not an answer, then at least some articles / literature on the topic?

Too many uncertainties. Let's start with the fact that a device can appear in the system as different virtual device classes - HID, COM port, and much more.
The device is uniquely identified by VID and PID, which you need to buy in order to be absolutely unique in the market.
If several identical devices are connected to the machine, then identification is made by VID PID and number on the bus.
Radio-harmful devices are usually virtual com ports, so the user just needs to be shown a dialog in which he can select the one he needs.
