How to connect to 5v logic, 36v motor?

The board is powered by 5V
. The controllers can work from 5-12v.
You need to somehow connect 2 motors that are powered by 36v.
I saw on YouTube how a guy controlled a 220v motor through an arudino through an a4 **** controller, which has a max. 12v. The motor worked from an outlet and was connected through the board he assembled, to which he connected the same 12v controller controlled by arduino and everything worked .. the arduino board itself was powered by usb. I can't find the video and I don't know where to dig. This is apparently an amplifier / signal converter or something like that. I'm not very strong in electronics, but I understand a little.
Collector-type motors 36v 3.5a "about 126w, you can still increase the power, 4 amperes will withstand"
I have been looking for an answer for 4 weeks now, I see only nema 17 or 23 but with controllers that work just from 36v.
I remembered, cnc shield seems to work the same way, I'll go look .. maybe I found the answer)

@Furyisa

Use a powerful n-type mosfet transistor, the connection diagram is like here, control using PWM (not an electronics engineer, if something is wrong or you didn’t think over the design, correct it in the comments)
The transistor is selected according to needs (it’s easy to google)

You were almost close, but found a different way .. Actually, it's almost like an amplifier

Alternatively, use an arduino motor shield.
