Why does the response from the MH-Z19 sensor stop coming?

Hello! Faced a problem with the MH-Z19 sensor. The sensor worked normally for a long time in a home weather station, while it was not soldered, but simply stuck into the holes on the board. With the last modification of the weather station, which did not concern the sensor itself, I decided to solder it. Now, after the power is turned on, it works for some time, but quite often the response from the sensor does not go through and its readings on the graph look more jagged than before, and after a few hours of operation, the answers stop coming at all. In this case, the PWM output works. Please tell me how to overcome this problem!

It is worth checking the quality of the soldering, as well as the power supply (voltage, is there enough power) - maybe something was wrong with it after the modification!

Mine stopped working after some time on a breadboard without soldering. In general, I have a feeling that the device is rather unreliable (but this is just a feeling) and can die quickly. It would be interesting to know how who organizes the food for this thing.

1. Install version MH-Z19 "B"
2. Monitor the supply voltage of the circuit when polling the sensor - it decreases sharply!
3. Change the communication interface. (there are 3)
