How to connect internet to lg tv with lan output?

There is a LG 42LA643V TV ( page on the LG website ). It has a LAN output, when connected to which you can create a home network and update the software, but you cannot access the Internet. Is it possible to reflash the TV so that through it you can access the Internet and watch videos directly from the network? And how to do it?

There is a site: openlgtv.org.ru/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
maybe it will help you.
at least you need to change the firmware. Some models allow it, some don't.
I also have LG 47LS5620, unfortunately there is no firmware for it. :(

The subject, IMHO, does not have Smart TV functions. So just as Sergey said above - look for the availability of alternative firmware, and then, if you find it, think about whether the profit from installing them is worth the risks.
Why do you need a network? Video about cats to watch from youtube?
My practice shows that this is very inconvenient and, in fact, not necessary. And if you really need it, it's better to buy a normal media player and use it for this.

At the most stands Smart TV. I just threw the cable from the TV to the modem and everything works fine. Then you go to the smart center in the application store, put the ones you need and use it.
