What should I pay attention to when choosing a switch?

Hello! There is an office for approximately 55 employees. The task is to select a switch. It is necessary that the speed between the switch and users be 1 Gbit, and between the server and the switch 10Gbit or optics. What would you suggest? Thank you! =) PS The switch is preferably intelligent. Budget up to 200

Pay attention to functionality.
But if you set the task in this way, you have a vague idea of what switches can and how are used. In this case, to protect your investment, I would advise you to buy something from the Cisco series for small businesses. Their functionality is wide, and understanding how to use it will come later.
For example Cisco SG500X-24 and SG500X-48. They meet all your requirements, but they will get out of the budget of 50 thousand.
I would think carefully about this:
- do all users really need gigabit? and the office manager? and an accountant? why? Wouldn't it be better to take one Fast Ethernet switch for most users and one Gigabit Ethernet for those who really need a gigabit link?
- do you really need a 10Gbit channel to the server? I have a hard time imagining small business applications where it's needed. If one gigabit is definitely not enough - there are network cards with several ports and static link aggregation. Think about it, it can come out much cheaper.

Are you sure you need 10G per server? What are the tasks?

Start with what features you need from the switch and how many ports you need. It is also better to separate server switches from access switches.

I hope "Budget up to 200" means a thousand rubles ...
