How to connect Asustor server to MacBook using standard means?

There's an Asustor mini server that connects to a 16" MacBook via USB 3, or a USB C to Ethernet adapter. I only use it as file storage with a mirror. There's a native Asus Control Center program, which I find terribly inconvenient. And I would put up with it, if not for one "but". Sometimes the laptop sees the server on the local network, and then it is much more convenient to work with it. The problem is that this happened only a few times, and I still did not understand what I did that the server was visible over the network.

How and what should be enabled / configured so that the server is visible every time you connect?

UPD: After half an hour of using the server through the web interface, it nevertheless appeared in the Finder. But! Why is it there tuned for so long???

Connect Asustor to the network with a wire, set up an ip address, and then set up network access through the web interface.
