Why is this needed and how does creating new users in Mac OS help during the development process?
I notice that some developers create multiple users on Unix systems (I've seen on OS X) to improve their development process. For example, I saw that a person uses a separate "playground" user for all sorts of studying and testing new technologies, techniques ...
If, for example, he works on his own project, he creates a separate user.
I would like to know the reason for this behaviour.

for example, I do this because of the settings of environment variables (GOPATH) so that there are no heaps of packages from the git in 1 place, as well as the differentiation of rights, and for example, each user has his own config for some kind of service
