How to connect Angular-xeditable in modal window?

Is it possible to call add/edit table row form with Angular-xeditable component for table in modal window? It does not work out, although the idea seems to be realizable. I'm thinking of wrapping the form code with a modal template, I'm editing it here plnkr
Do I need to edit the source code of the component for this?
I'm trying to mix resolve scopes from here [ stackoverflow.com/questions/18935476/angularjs-ui-... ] and an example of add row form from here [ vitalets.github.io/angular-xeditable/#editable-row ]
