How to connect an Omron blood pressure monitor via USB to a Linux device on OpenWRT?

I want to connect a sphygmomanometer (blood pressure monitor) from Omron to the Smart Home. It connects to TPLink, it is defined as a USB device, but I can’t figure out how to extract data from it using a Bash script. There is a library in C ( https://github.com/openyou/libomron) and an example of working with a device in Python ( usb2me.wordpress.com/2013/02/06/omron-mit-elite-pl... ), But Python can not be installed due to space limitations on the device. In general, I will be glad if you can help or indicate where to "dig".
Thank you!

Judging by the python script, the library mentioned above is not used. I think you can read directly from cat /dev/ttyUSB0 (or similar). Further, according to the specified protocol in the script, parse the output. Or, as another option, connect a 16 gig flash drive ( extroot ) to the router and then install anything.

Good afternoon, forum users! I ask for your advice in choosing a tonometer. Need to choose for parents. There are few basic requirements - quality, ease of use, a cuff that is suitable for overweight people and large icons on the screen. I look here - I want to choose from Japanese blood pressure monitors, but if there is a proven good manufacturer - tell me. Is there a difference between a shoulder tonometer and a wrist tonometer? I wish the readings were not distorted. I would be grateful for practical reviews and proven brands and models. Thank you!
