How to connect a voice gateway?
Happy holiday everyone!
There is a 5112S voice gateway (LAN, WAN ports, power and 2 phone lines), a laptop, a wi-fi router and a landline phone with a regular (analog?) telephone line from a telecom operator. How to connect the gateway correctly?
And in the end, when everything is connected, will it be possible to get through to me by city number?
Now the connection is via the WAN port to the router, via the LAN port from the gateway to the laptop. Telephone wire from the gateway to the telephone? Then it turns out that the telephone wire from the service provider is disconnected, it seems to me that something is wrong. What is the point then in the gateway to make IP calls from a regular phone?
