How to connect a network drive of the root shared directory and not a separate folder via VPN?
Hallow guis.
The problem is this:
There is:
*-Remote server ( name: CORT, address 192.168.11.22 ) on which the program is located in several folders.
*-Multiple machines that connect via VPN (PPTP) to connect to public folders.
One of the remote machines (win10) , when searching for a server at \\CORT , gave out the entire public root directory without any problems. At the same time, we easily managed to connect (* as a network drive) the entire root directory with all shared folders. The program works, life is great.
However, on all other machines (win7,win8) when you type \\CORT into the address bardoes not find anything, they only access the IP address \\192.168.11.22 , and the root directory cannot be connected as a network drive. In this regard, a program that lies on several folders that are dependent on each other. does not start. When changing the program shortcut path from \\CORT\programm_KLIENT\**1.exe to \\192.168.11.22\programm_KLIENT\**1.exe , the client starts, but with an error
