How to connect a monitor with an HDMI to HDMI cable?
The problem is this. I want to connect an hdmi cable to the monitor. But when I turn on the computer, it displays a message on the monitor *Check the cable connections. *Only when the computer itself is loaded from Windows, you need to turn off and on the monitor and then the hdmi input will work. I set the HDMI input on the monitor, but to no avail.
Monitor Philips 227E4QHD. There are HDMI and VGA connectors
Video card Ati Radeon HD6670
The video card has a DVI-D, VGA, HDMI connector.
I tried to put it through an adapter to DVI (I have an HDMI-HDMI cable), the same monitor does not receive a signal. I also installed a VGA cable along with HDMI, so it interrupts the analog signal and if you turn it off in the card settings, the same thing as above happens.

The hdmi cable needs to be replaced. Not only do they differ in quality, they can also differ in standards.
