How to connect a monitor to a laptop on Linux Mint via HDMI with an adapter?

For some reason, when you connect a monitor, the laptop does not see it at all. Before that, there was Windows and everything worked fine. I know that I don’t know something, I ask for help :)
I recorded a video . "No signal" is also displayed when the cable is disconnected.
