How to connect 8+4 pin cpu power to modular PSU?

The motherboard has power for the processor 8 + 4 pin. There is also a power supply with two cables (4 + 4 pin) to power the processor.

With 8 pin it is clear - a 4 + 4 pin cable is connected to the power supply. And what to do with the remaining 4 pin input on the motherboard, which is next to it? Do I understand correctly that I will need to connect a second 4 + 4 pin cable to the power supply, and then connect "half" of this cable to the remaining 4 pin on the processor?
