How to configure wildcard to be identical to current A-records?

For example, for the gmail.com zone, you need to configure wildcard *.test.ml so that non-existent subdomains lead to gmail.com nodes. How can this be done?

So do it. Go to the test.ml zone config and add a CNAME record for * leading to gmail.com.
