Windows 10 guest OS has proton vpn installed, how to set up routing so vpn works on vmware linux instead of physical network connection?

I won’t tell you about proton (I don’t even know what it is) ... because I use SoftEther VPN Server, and there I just have a bridge enabled on the VPN hub to the guest OS adapter, which is attached to the same LAN on which the virtual machine hangs ...
