How to configure Discovery in Zabbix so that item prototypes are not "hung" on hosts that do not support them?

Good day!

I have zabbix 4.0 and discovery rules with item prototypes that asks for interface numbers, puts them in a macro, and creates items for each host port using this macro. The problem is that polled devices of different generations and older models do not support some oids. Is it possible to somehow set up discovery rules so that items with an unsupported oid are not hung up on the host?

discovery has a feature of filters, you can see an example of its use in the "OS Linux" template for detecting disks.
