Monitoring
Viktor Taran, 2017-08-24 18:07:48

What monitoring to choose for a web server?

Task:
1. Cloud service (so as not to monitor the monitoring server)
2. Monitoring with the ability to connect via ssh and collect data, and at least be able to reload in case of an error.
3. Not zabbix nagios - the server is built for a client without an admin, and you need to configure everything on the web face. (the exception is online services based on them, and not all servers can even install something even an agent)
4. Graphical display of not only statuses 0 1 but also numerical values, for example

df -h |grep rootfs| awk {'print $5'} | sed 's/\%//g'

5. availability of a database with a hit (it is also possible via ssh)
6. availability of the page
7. sms + mail
8. reasonable price
9. it is desirable to check the https certificate, especially the term.
Number of servers 8
Light monitoring 20 -ping port availability
Heavy hits, response from the console 80.
Preferably Russian interface.
While looking here. monit-it.ru from the minuses has not yet figured out how to get a schedule via ssh (for example, a percent)
and you will also have to make a special tariff

@drno-reg

I tried to put my server on monitoring using monit-it.ru, they even have a free tariff with a frequency of 15 minutes
, when adding a monitoring object with checking on port 80, an error occurred

Невозможно получить IP адрес данного хоста

##exception saveobjectdata [-999]

strange, I tried both by host and by IP.
I tried monitoring the HTTP request type, the object was saved and the IP that I specified initially was determined.
