How to conditionally colorize cells in Google Tables?

Hello. For some reason, I can’t color the cells in column A if, for example, there is a checkbox in B1 and it is activated.
What I did: I
used Conditions. formatting.

  • Range: A:A
  • Formula:if(AND(B1;1);;)
  • Column A Cell Text Color: Red

Does not work.
And the 2nd option is to do it manually, i.e. "if b1 is true, then we do something with a1", but I don't know how to paint manually, Conditions can handle this. form, I think.
Tell me how to solve the problem?
Is there a manual for dummies, how to paint over a cell or something like that?

In conditional formatting, select "Your formula".
As a formula, any condition, but the line must begin with a symbol =
. For example, paint over if the number 99 is in B1:
If your condition always works, then check how many conditions you have added, remove the extra ones.
In general, experiment, you will succeed, I believe.
