How to completely transfer a user to a new domain while maintaining local settings?

I'm slowly learning AD, I ran into this problem:
There is a computer with the user "user_1", when it was in the "domain_1" domain. It is necessary to transfer this user to the new domain "domain_2" with the new name "user_2". At the same time, it is necessary to make sure that when the user enters the new domain, he does not notice the changes, i.e. everything is in its place (shortcuts \ gadgets \ all settings of all programs \ etc)
Is this real?
Tried USMT and Easy Transfer Wizard.
Easy Transfer Wizard didn’t really endure it, and in USMT I apparently didn’t do something right - nothing happened either.

You are not advising anything.
The true goal is to rename the profile on the local PC to a new name, but for this it is necessary that the user has already logged in at least once and a profile from the new domain has been created for him.
or create a branch with its SID and explicitly point (even to the old profile)
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
All this is perfectly automated

If you do not mind using third-party software at the time of migration, then I can advise Forensit Profile Wizard . I will say from personal experience that the transfer of more than two hundred machines from one domain to another took a small amount of time, and in fact without loss of user data.

Really, it is necessary to use USMT, tell us why it was not possible to use USMT, what went wrong?

I apparently did not fully understand the logic of the actions, I did something like this:
scanstate \\fileserver\migration\mystore /ue:*\* /ui:domain1\user1 /i:miguser.xml /i:migapp.xml /o
Then I enter the comp to the new domain "domain2", I go immediately under the admin (without going under the new user) and enter the following:
loadstate \\fileserver\migration\mystore /mu:domain1\user1:domain2\user2 /i:miguser.xml /i:migapp .xml
Then for some reason I could not log in as a user, maybe I messed something up.

In general, I recommend that you do the following:
1. fully backup files, settings, etc. using USMT, to be honest, I prefer to use the transfer wizard, rather than the command line
2. We enter a new computer into the domain, create a new domain user, log in to his account.
3. And only then, in the session of the created user, we unpack our archive.
In theory, everything should move, but sometimes some browser bookmarks and some other crap do not want to move, but this is no more than 5% of the information, it can be manually transferred. So I recommend keeping the user’s information for at least another week, while he (she) is all will check.
