How to compare the performance of raspberry pi with PC?
How to compare the performance of raspberry pi with PC?
How many times, or in numbers somehow, is rasp pi 2/3 weaker than a PC? I don’t give a specific config, which is why a lot of wits will unsubscribe now, probably. Is the raspberry pi performance enough to host an unloaded site?

Benchmarks, for example. There is a good list of different programs for this here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Benchmarking
Everyone wrote about benchmarks correctly. Google specific usage patterns. Just don't forget that raspberry has a weak point - the usb bus, on which both the network and the storage itself hang (usb-flash, microsd, usb-hdd). You need to understand that the total bandwidth and plugging will be not only due to lack of processor time or memory.
PI performance is enough for a WRITTENLY WRITTEN even moderately loaded site.
But on average, PI performance is only enough for unloaded sites with a simple engine.

Let's say scaleway was selling hosting on ARM, but something hasn't been heard about it lately.
It seems that the capacity is too low, the customers are too dissatisfied....

Although hosters are looking at ARM servers, specialized hosting ARM servers are being designed.
There were even articles on Habré - the pieces of iron showed that they exist.
Such a standard 1-2U box - and there are dozens of servers inside.
So someday....
