Why isn't the fan speed dropping?
Installed a new HPE Apollo 4200 Gen9. Since then, the constant strong noise from the fans has been disturbing. In the built-in diagnostics, it shows that the speed of 8 out of 10 installed fans is spinning at 75-85% of its maximum. (Sorry, I still don't understand anything about this, this is my first server in my hands). In the BIOS settings, they only allow you to select the power mode: Optimal, (medium), Max. Nothing else. I thought it could be configured in ILO4, but the server does not have a corresponding socket for management. I even tried to find out something through SpeedFan, but they are not displayed there. What to do?

After updating the BIOS and installing drivers through the Proliant ServicePack, the speed of the turntables dropped from 80% to 70% steadily. You can set mods in Power Management
Dynamic Power Savings Mode
Static Low Power Mod
Static High Performance Mode.
Os Control
I didn't feel any difference between them.
Noisy work is a common thing for a server. If the server is 1U format, then it would be normal to blow it through, because of the dimensions, you have to spin the fans very strongly in terms of speed.
It is assumed that the server equipment should be in the server room, and the noise usually does not disturb anyone there.
