How to commit to a new branch?

In the repository on the github in the master, there is more or less a working project. On the local computer, I made a bunch of changes to the logic of work. Created a new dev branch on github. How to send everything that has changed from the local computer to the dev branch?
PS Git began to use quite recently and while I'm confused in the commands.
