How to collect behavior statistics in the Browser Extension?

Hello.
There is a small browser extension for Google Chrome that is also published for Opera.
The extension is able to authorize the user. As well as a number of "pages" in the Popup.
And I would like to collect the most detailed statistics:
How often popup opens. What browser is it installed on. In which country. What language is the user's browser in. How much time the user spends on a particular "page" popup.
I'm almost sure that such statistics can be collected using Google analytics for a web site. But how to apply it for a browser extension?
