How to choose the topic of scientific work on information security?
Good day. I'm participating in an information security competition. The competition is held among schoolchildren, and since IS is not read in the school course, the participants are not required to make any scientific breakthroughs, but they take the issue of scientific novelty quite seriously . I can't decide on a topic. If you have any ideas, suggestions about the topic of the work or other advice, I will be glad to hear it.

Lolshto’s work? Go up to the teacher and ask: “Why the hell are you, old bastard, here rubbing schemes from the USSR to me, about some scientific value, when they don’t read anything like that to us? Quickly got me an internship in virus recognition using neural networks to Kaspersky or drweb. And maybe in 10 years I'll give you something scientifically valuable." If he answers "no" - you can spit in his face.
If you are not "in the know", you don't know what's going on in IB and you don't know what problems there are. Without knowing the problems, it is difficult to study something new. I mean, it's just not for you.
