I have a second level domain attached to ihor php hosting (So I don't have a dedicated IP). Being engaged in the development of applications for vk, I learned that you need to have an sll certificate. I got an sll certificate from Ihor website, free for one month. When connecting via https, it throws an error, referring to the fact that deprecated methods work. How to choose a suitable certificate, so that VK does not give errors, it was possible to work not with one site, but with its subdomains, which company to focus on, what pricing policy, and is it necessary to separately buy a VPS or VDS server for this?

To install a certificate, it is not necessary to have a dedicated IP, the main thing is that the web server is configured correctly. Chrome swears at sha1, now they use sha2. Any wildcard ssl will do for you. Comodo has decent prices for them.

This is a wildcard certificate, it costs money. Take from Comodo, for example.
