How to choose a UPS for a zoo of switches?

Good afternoon. I'm not versed in the question, who reserves the power on the switches? Here we put the UPS block in the switch + battery. The light is gone, the switch is powered by the battery, the light was given and that, the UPS unit non-stop charges the battery. Is this not harmful to the battery, or does it depend on the type of battery?
