Hello everyone, I need advice on this Linksys SPA3102 piece of iron

I need to take the usual MGTS home number to the network. The requirements are that I can use my home number from a sip client, or any sip inpatient.
therefore, I just forward the ports on the router and prescribe the settings of this gateway on the devices, do I understand the scheme of work correctly?

Provided that you have a white IP, you are right. Otherwise, you will need a VPS, or an account of a SIP provider, or some other dancing with a tambourine.

It is unlikely that it will be possible to configure it normally without using a SIP server as a PBX.
