Hello. I want to buy a second die of RAM to get a two-channel mode. What parameters should be used to select the second RAM in order for them to work in two-channel? For example, I know that there must be the same type of memory. Does the second one have to be from the same manufacturer, with the same frequency?
What performance boost will dual channel mode provide? Will FPS increase in games?

it’s better to buy a pair at once (look for a pack, there are some), and sell yours,
but if you’re too lazy - yes, the same frequency and the same timings, the manufacturer is unimportant, it’s not a video card, but it’s better if there is the same batch, which is unrealistic
