How to choose a monochrome laser MFP for home/small office?
Task:
Purchase 3 units of office equipment, more specifically 3 laser monochrome MFPs.
Will be used by employees with skills from "advanced user" to "level 0" users.
Approximate load:
From 500 to 1000 pages / month
Functionality:
1) Scanner, printer, copier
2) Everything else is frills that make the device more expensive and more difficult to set up and use.
What do you want?
Reliable machines, understandable and easy to use, high-quality software, up-to-date drivers (OS Win XP / 7 / 8 / 8.1), not expensive original components or the ability to use analogs without dancing with tambourines (and if any), ease of maintenance is welcome.

Kyocera 2035dn is not suitable, like any other, for your tasks:
1 The performance of this device is clearly excessive. The toner tube is rated at 7,200 pages, and the transfer/photo roller units are rated at 100,000 pages.
2 user "0" level will not be able to replace even the toner tube
3 user "advanced user" will get deeper into the device and "kill" the transfer / photo roller
4 all users will not be able to solve the problem of high-quality printing on their own in full, because the cartridge consists of 4 parts
5 statistics show that even when using the "original" photo roller / transfer units serve no more than 50% of the resource without loss of print quality - then a decrease in print density begins due to wear of parts
6 analogues (compatible) are available only for toner tubes, the drum unit can only be restored, and the transfer unit is only the original
7 different people will use the devices - they will definitely "kill" the blocks with foreign objects.
TOTAL:
1 real cost of a print - multiply the "official figure" by 2
2 regularly visits you or are loaded with these functions themselves
3 expenses are unpredictable
Xerox / Samsung option - there will be problems with consumption, although the cartridge is "all in one", however, the presence of chips, a long wait for the first print spoil all raspberries
Junior Canon / HP models are the best option
