need to remember that everything changes, and support can act illogically in any case, the
best thing is - US Entity and US registrar, will help you respond quickly, but no more + act according to the law (expensive), this is when you see native American papers and moves rolls
there is no protection for the com domain if the USA court says to transfer
from hijacking everything is protected: 1) the impossibility of transfer after registration for 60 days (this does not prevent transferring to another acc from the same registrar, and outwardly you will think that everything is fine )
2) registrars have features such as not opening a domain secret without additional info (what to ask - you ask yourself)
RU domains are unreliable, there is no raiding (well, except for cases that are not clear of fault), but the court with rulings is cheap, adjusted for this, it doesn’t matter who to register with, for example R01
.RU registrars can only be Russian legal entities:
https://cctld.ru/ru/registrators/
What is good about the national domain zone - domains remain within Russia and in case of any legal problems, they are resolved through the Coordination Center. That is, tyranny like GoDaddy does not happen, and if it does, it is decided rather harshly, because all registrars are LLCs in Russia.
With international zones there is more freedom, but also problems. For example, if you hijack a domain to a registrar in India, you will not get a decision in your favor. Or UDRP for a lot of money. You can take the Google Domains registrar, for example, but remember the Evil Corp, which does not even respond to emails...
In general, it's worth picking one registrar for .RU and another for .COM so you don't keep them in the same place for more security.
